You Have What You Need

Word for Today: You Have What You Need

I want to encourage you today with this simple thought. God has already
provided everything you need to do what He has called you for. Don’t doubt
but believe.

The material they had was more than enough to do the job. Ex. 36:7

Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Through Christ, God has
blessed us with *every* *spiritual* *blessing* that heaven has to offer.
Eph 1:3

Word of the Day- Leadership Perspective

Leadership Perspective:

Do you ever wonder how great performers, athletes, parents or bosses excel
in the most pressure packed situations? They aren’t over thinking or
panicking, but responding to the challenge with what they have already
trained themselves to do through hours of practice, study and repetition.

As leaders and disciples of Christ is it vital that we spend the time on
the fundamentals such as reading daily, praying, tithing, gathering
together and being a witness. When we do pressure packed situations become
opportunities for God’s greatness to be shown through your fruitfulness.

Those who pursue Jesus are not set on wealth… wealth is set on them.

Word for Today- Leadership Perspective

8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man. 9 It is better to
trust in the Lord than to trust in rulers. Psalm 118:8-9 reminds us that as
leaders we need to trust in the Lord first and always. Many times, when
things are not going well we look at people we perceive as the problem and
say ” if only they would change this or that things would get better!”
Proverbs 3 says we should “Trust in the Lord with all of our heart and
don’t lean on our own understanding. In all of our ways acknowledge Him and
He will direct our paths.” We pray, God changes hearts. We sow, God moves
on the hearts of men and provides increase. Trust in the Lord with all of
your heart, pray and let God do what only God can.

The economy is certainly a hot topic out there. People are calling it the
defining issue of the upcoming presidential election. It certainly is an
issue on the minds of many, many people. There is a solution to economic
issues available that is guaranteed to work every time.

Proverbs 11:24 says: “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And
there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.”
Another version of this verse says: “Give freely and become more wealthy;
be stingy and lose everything.”

In a world where people are searching for answers for how to solve the
financial difficulties, we have it! Be a giver. Give generously. Don’t
hold back. When you do this, you will be walking in the world’s greatest
answer to economic trouble!

Word of the day - Leadership Perspective

“As for husbands, love your wives just like Christ loved the church and
gave himself for her.” (Eph.5:25) Priorities in the right order is the
difference between success and failure in any venture or relationship.
Jesus gave his life for his church and bride because of his love for her.
As we give our lives first to God let us not forget his command to love
our spouses. When our priorities are in place success becomes sustainable
and filled with joy.

Sitting across from the offering box, he was observing how the crowd tossed
money in for the collection. Many of the rich were making large
contributions. One poor widow came up and put in two small coins—a measly
two cents.

Jesus called his disciples over and said, “The truth is that this poor
widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the
others gave what they’ll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she
couldn’t afford—she gave her all.”

We’ve all heard of those get-rich-quick schemes – “invest in THIS product
and in a few short hours you’ll be a multimillionaire”, “put your money in
THIS stock and watch your assets multiply”. We’ve also heard (or maybe
experienced ourselves) that they don’t always work out as advertised!

Jesus laid out a solid plan for financial increase that is 100% guaranteed
to be successful. In Luke 8:8, He said: “Still other seed fell on fertile
soil. This seed grew and produced a crop that was a hundred times as much
as had been planted!”

When we plant our seed in the fertile soil of God’s ground – giving of
tithes and offerings, giving of our time and talents – we can be guaranteed
that we will produce a harvest better than any get-rich-quick scheme out
there. Don’t miss this exciting investment opportunity!
